G'day! Welcome to Island Bloomery. We are a small-scale home flower farm based on beautiful Phillip Island, Victoria. We absolutely love sharing our patch of paradise with you through our premium dahlia tubers, chrysanthemum and dahlia cuttings, ranunculus plugs, flower seeds, and propagation supplies.

Because we are dealing with living, breathing plants and strict bio-security rules, here is everything you need to know about how we get our greens from our patch to yours. 

We treat your plants like our own. Every single tuber, cutting, and plug is hand-inspected before it gets packed into its box to ensure it leaves us in healthy, viable, and raring-to-grow condition.

• Our Hygiene Promise: We practice incredibly strict hygiene protocols while growing, cutting, and dividing. If a plant shows even a whisper of disease or poor health, it gets culled. We simply do not keep or sell it.

• The Nature Factor: Once the plants hit your garden, a lot comes down to Mother Nature. Things like dahlia viruses and overall plant performance can be heavily influenced by your local weather, soil health, sneaky garden pests, and environmental stress.

• The 48-Hour Window: If your green babies arrive looking worse for wear from their journey, please snap a photo and contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can help sort it out. 

To give your plants the fastest, safest trip possible, we ship all living plant orders via Australia Post Express unless where stated.

• Dispatch Timing: Because different plants ready up at different times of the year, dispatch windows vary depending on what you've ordered. Keep an eye on the individual product listings for specific shipping dates!

• Once it Leaves the Farm: As much as we'd love to drive it to your front door ourselves, once your parcel leaves our hands, the delivery timeframe is up to Australia Post.

Quarantine Restrictions: Due to strict state biosecurity laws, we are heartbroken to say we cannot ship to Tasmania, Western Australia, or the Northern Territory. Sorry, legends!
